D. Holt

The use of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) has been long associated with fatty liver disease, diabetes and increases in obesity, but a new study has investigated its effects on the brain. HFCS is an inexpensive ingredient added to fast food and fizzy drinks and is 6 times sweeter than sugar obtained from sugar cane.

The study by UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) studied the effect of HFCS on rats, who have similar brain chemistry to humans. The rats were trained in a maze for five days before the experimental diet began. The maze had only one exit and contained visual clues so as to help the rats remember the way through the maze to the exit. The rats were separated into two groups, both given HFCS solution as drinking water but one had food fortified with omega-3Œs. The rats were then tested in the maze 6 weeks after the training period.

It was found that the rats that had been given the omega-3Œs were much better at finding their way through the maze, indicating that they had remembered the way. However, the rats that had been given only the HFCS had a much reduced ability to find the exit. On closer inspection of the rats brain tissue, it was found that insulin had little or no effect on brain cells in those from the HFCS group. The authors of the study suspect that consuming too much HFCS could block the ability of insulin to regulate how brain cells store sugar for energy requires for processing thoughts.

Professor Gomez-Pinilla said, gThe brain cells had trouble signaling each other, disrupting the rats ability to think clearly and recall the route theyfd learned six weeks earlier. Wefre concerned about high-fructose corn syrup that is added to manufactured food products as a sweetener and preservative. Wefre not talking about naturally occurring fructose in fruits, which also contain important antioxidants.h

Protection from HFCS by consuming Omega-3

The Omega 3 fatty acids protected the ratfs brains from the effects of the HFCS, meaning a less degraded performance in memory. As rats have a similar brain chemistry to humans, it may be good practice to consume more omega-3Œs in our diet. Good, natural sources of omega-3Œs are nuts, seeds and oily fish, such as salmon, mackerel and sardines. Supplements are also available.

HFCS has long been reported on various health websites and even in the mainstream media as being unhealthy for your body. But this study also shows it is equally detrimental to your mind as well. Why is it that an ingredient that is known to have so many harmful effects can still be used in such high quantities in some of the most popular drinks and foods? It is because it is cheap to produce and makes more profit for the corporations that use it. Yet again, profit is the most important goal, even at the expense of the health of consumers. Many of these consumers are, as a result, ending up grossly obese and too mentally impaired to know why their health is suffering.

As the same old controlled politics continues we bring you a very apt video:

Seriously though, there is some good news with these elections in that the majority of the electorate have boycotted them as the voter turnout has plummeted - in Lincoln it was down to 25%. Is there any wonder that there is voter apathy as nothing ever seems to change for the better no matter who gets in. Anyone with a different point of view to the established thought is then lambasted in the press. Who'd have thought that gutter journalism would try and influence elections - and who controls the media? hmmm.

Local councillors have virtually had any power stripped away from them over the years and now even if elected you stand very little chance of changing anything locally unless you are on certain committees. Perhaps this is why Mandy Pandy once allegedly said "if voting made any difference, we wouldn't do it." Even MP's cannot make real changes to the established protocol, not that there are any who, quite frankly, have the balls to stand up and be counted - the nearest I would say is John Hemming (Lib Dem) who has asked for the family courts to be scrapped and also came out to defend Norman Scarth when he was incarcerated for having an opinion - well done to him.

If you want to change anything with this rotten system, then you have to work outside "their system."

Anyway, for a sign of things to come, take a look at this video of "Democracy" in action. Note this a mayoral candidate for Liverpool 3 days prior to the election. If you have high blood pressure do not watch it:

Now you have watched it drink a glass of beetroot juice which lowers blood pressure. An old remedy with no profit in it for the World Health Organisation - and who controls the WHO? Hmmm.

We hope these "officers" are proud of themselves.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

Dear Mr Cameron,

We are informed that a directive from Brussels demands we now daily fly the EU flag over Westminster. Doubtless this is in keeping with The Lisbon Treaty which will do away with a country so long respected and called England.

Whilst this matter did not receive the media coverage one could expect and it was reported in a very small way some days ago, I note that there has been not a single word from you or Mr Pickles refusing to adhere to this directive.. Why? Is it because the point has been reached where our parliament really now exists only on paper and all is a complete fraud.?

As the Prime Minister of this country from which thousands gave their young lives to fight exactly what the EU today stands for( not forgetting its forerunner was first established in Germany during the last world war)it has to be expected government would put a complete and immediate stop to this or is it that you know perfectly well that England really no longer exists in terms of The Lisbon Treaty.

You refuse to grant the British people a say as to their sovereignty and I have to tell you that I personally now doubt your loyalty to this country.

May I please receive from your office a reply informing me why there has been no refusal to this directive.

Respectively yours,

An excellent video and comment that has been passed on from the British Gazette. Their website can be found here http://www.british-gazette.co.uk/

The above YouTube video (WHICH APPLIES EVEN MORE TO THE UK THAN THE USA) made by http://freemarketamerica.org/ articulates with stunning eloquence the sheer global extent and breadth that is the great global warming/climate change scam.

The facts of the matter are these: that the Europhile “green washed” TRAITORS such as Cameron, Clegg and Miliband, their colleagues and supporters are engaged on a monumental FRAUD organised and conducted through the poison fruit of their HIGH TREASON – the European Union – that makes the embezzlement conducted by the Duke of Chandos (as Paymaster of the Forces Abroad) and the fraud (the South Sea bubble) committed such as the Earl of Sunderland and others pale into utter insignificance.

British Gazette readers should however be consoled by one thought: Fraudsters – if they persist in their fraud – inevitably get found out, caught, arrested, tried, convicted and imprisoned. Be in no doubt: this should be the fate that awaits Cameron, Clegg and Miliband.

How then will they be rumbled? Simple: this fraud cannot last. Power cuts are on their way. When – not if -they come this generation of teenagers and twenty somethings are not going to passively accept the situation which will mean they cannot use their TVs, Wiis, X Boxes, games consoles, HiFi, TV, video recorders, PC’s. They will not put up with not being able to switch on the microwave to heat up their meals.

What will really inflame them is the knowledge that rich people, like Cameron, Clegg and Miliband will not be affected as they will have spent £5,000 – £10,000 on diesel generators to power their homes when the mains electricity fails.

The plain simple facts are that this present collection of Europhile green washed TRAITORS are some of the worst CRIMINALS in British history – by unlawfully handing the government of the country over to a foreign power and participating in the most monumental fraud (the great CO2 con) in history.

Original post blogged on b2evolution.

The Tax system explained in beer

Suppose that once a week, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to £100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this..

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay £1.
The sixth would pay £3.
The seventh would pay £7.
The eighth would pay £12.
The ninth would pay £18.
And the tenth man (the richest) would pay £59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every week and seemed quite happy with the arrangement until, one day, the owner caused them a little problem. "Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your weekly beer by £20.” Drinks for the ten men would now cost just £80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free but what about the other six men? The paying customers? How could they divide the £20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share? They realized that £20 divided by six is £3.33 but if they subtracted that from everybody's share then not only would the first four men still be drinking for free but the fifth and sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fairer to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage. They decided to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.

And so, the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (a 100% saving).
The sixth man now paid £2 instead of £3 (a 33% saving).
The seventh man now paid £5 instead of £7 (a 28% saving).
The eighth man now paid £9 instead of £12 (a 25% saving).
The ninth man now paid £14 instead of £18 (a 22% saving).
And the tenth man now paid £49 instead of £59 (a 16% saving).
Each of the last six was better off than before with the first four continuing to drink for free.

But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings. "I only got £1 out of the £20 saving," declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man, "but he got £10"

"Yes, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved £1 too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me"

"That's true" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get £10 back, when I only got £2? The wealthy get all the breaks"

"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor" The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next week the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important - they didn't have enough money between all of them to pay for even half of the bill.

And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works. The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy and they just might not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

Dear British Friend,

If patriotism is new to you, or if you had been brainwashed by the EU keepers into thinking there is something wrong with loving your country, and are suffering from the dreaded mental disorder of patriophobia, here are some helpful tips to recover from this degenerative, potentially mentally crippling disorder:

First, turn your sound up, open your heart and mind, and listen:

Then read this:

How to celebrate St. George's Day

1. Wear a red rose for England in your jacket lapel. [This is the most important. Be prepared to answer questions as to why you are wearing it. Answer with a big smile. Don] As the national flower of England, the rose is a symbol of patriotic pride

2. Read the “Legend of St. George and the Dragon”

3. Fly the flag of St. George. Many official buildings will fly the flag on St. George’s Day

4. Attend on the many St. George’s Day events taking place throughout England

5. Eat fish & chips, England's favourite take away meal.

I would add a 6th:

6. Take a photo of an EU flag and draw a big X across it with a thick black felt marker. If you feel brave, you might display this publicly. But it's all right to wait until a later time for this if you sense a threat from the Philistine "authorities." Don Hank

Water fluoridation is a highly controversial topic, with many individuals voicing massive concern over the practice. In contrast, some stick to the concept that there isn’t any association between fluoride and any real negative effects. Fluoride, however, is indeed a toxic substance, and has been tied with numerous health complications in well-established research. Fluoride can be found in many water supplies, toothpaste, and even food at alarming levels. While it may sound shocking to many, some research is even drawing a close connection between fluoride and an increased cancer risk.

Top Scientist: Fluoride Already Shown to Cause 10,000 Cancer Deaths

One paper entitled Fluoride – A Modern Toxic Waste says the following:

Yiamouyiannis documents research showing that fluoride increases the tumor growth rate by 25% at only 1 ppm, produces melanotic tumors, transforms normal cells into cancer cells and increases the carcinogenesis of other chemicals. For the original references to these studies, refer to Yiamouyiannis’ pamphlet, Lifesavers Guide to Fluoridation.

In 1997, it was shown that fluoridation caused about 10,000 cancer deaths in epidemiological studies by Dr. Dean Burk, former head of the Cytochemistry Section at the National Cancer Institute and Yiamouyiannis. Despite the findings occurring in 1997, they were not reluctantly released until 1989 (?). After analyzing the study results in rats, it was found that animals who drank fluoridated water:

•Showed an increase in tumors and cancers in oral squamous cells.
•Developed a rare form of bone cancer called osteosarcoma.
•Showed an increased in thyroid follicular cell tumors.
•Developed a rare form of liver cancer known as hepatocholangiocarcinoma.

Other research resurfaced by Dr. Dean Burk, former chief of cytochemistry at the National Cancer Institute for 30 years, also shows that fluoride increases the cancer death rate. Dr Burk refers to a study conducted which compares the 10 largest U.S. cities with fluoridation and the 10 largest without. What researchers found was that following fluoridation, deaths from cancer went up immediately- in as little as a year.

To reduce fluoride levels to the greatest degree, activists must demand that the government stop fluoridating the water supplies. Water fluoridation has not only been linked to an increased cancer risk, but a decreased IQ in children. In fact, the findings forced the government to call for lower fluoridation levels nationwide. Until water fluoridation comes to a halt, the easiest way to reduce fluoride exposure is to invest in a reverse osmosis water filtration system. Drinking distilled water for 3-6 months may also reduce the soft tissue fluoride levels, but not bone levels. Soft tissue fluoride levels cause the greatest health problems.

Please check out this link too relating to food produce that have high levels of fluoride http://naturalsociety.com/common-food-items-could-contain-180-times-more-fluoride-than-tap-water/

The only sure way to safeguard against fluoride is as suggested to fit a reverse osmosis water filter, to have unfluoridated toothpaste (expensive I know) and to watch what you eat by checking all ingredients. Also eating organic food you have produced yourself and boosting your immune system will go towards counteracting what the elite are doing to us all, Ed

Original post blogged on b2evolution.
