....and this Little Piggy Goes to JAIL
By Lincs Patriot on Apr 8, 2011 | In National, Council Watch, Tax

Former Environment Minister Elliot Morley
Former Scunthorpe MP Elliot Morley has admitted being Parliament's biggest expenses cheat. The ex Labour Minister was caught dishonestly claiming mortgage payments worth more than £30,000. In total, he claimed £16,800 on a phantom mortgage and £15,200 after inflating the amount he was previously paying - for which he should have been entitled to only £1,572. Morley, 58, wrongly filled out a total of 40 forms relating to payments for his home.
Please pass go and go straight to jail.
He will be joining the three other little pigs:

Jim Devine, the first MP to stand trial in the wake of the expenses scandal, whom was branded a liar by a judge last month as he was jailed for 16 months for offences totalling £8,385.

Former Labour MP, David Chaytor jailed for falsely claiming £22,000

Former Labour MP, Eric Illsley jailed for falsely claiming £14,500
Former Tory peer Lord Taylor of Warwick seen below awaits sentencing after being convicted by a jury in January of falsely claiming more than £11,000 for travel and overnight subsistence.

It has emerged that MPs were paid £3.2 million in expenses for the final two months of last year.
Letter to Chief Inspector

Below is a letter I received in November from Chief Inspector Housley at Lincolnshire Police, which was addressed to all councillors in the district of North Kesteven:

Following this letter, I sent a reply which is as follows:
Chief Inspector Mark Housley
West Divisional HQ
West Parade
Lincoln

17th December 2010
Dear Sirs
Further to your letter dated 10th November (copy enclosed) which was sent to councillors in North Kesteven outlining their supposed roles in “community safety,” I felt compelled to respond.
In your letter you state that Parish Councils should work with childrens services and others to engage with children to prevent crime such as anti-social behaviour. Unfortunately, the village in which I now live, no longer has its own school or in fact its own respected village bobby, due to the continual decline and cut backs over many years.
I do not believe that the Police Institution was set up to allow crime to get out of control and then for it to delegate responsibility onto councillors and “partners.” Whilst I cannot speak for others, I myself just want the police to do their duty which is to protect the public, catch criminals and make sure they are sentenced and see that justice is served. I appreciate lenient sentences and issues of funding are not within your remit and that the blame for those clearly lies with successive governments and subversive “charities.”
At a recent parish council meeting it was reported that rural crime was going up, especially thefts of fuel. I wondered what response we would have from the Police to deter these crimes. Unbelievably (well not really when you know the agenda), upon visiting Lincoln I saw atleast 2 officers with a “tractor” painted in police livery and a truck, intended to raise peoples awareness of rural crime. I am not sure how much this actually cost the tax payer but I am sure that it would have paid for atleast 1 or 2, (if not more) full time policemen to investigate rural crime and catch criminals, which I think is better than having officers on a jolly with a tractor in a place that no longer has its own cattle market because it has been built on!
In the district of North Kesteven during the last year or so we have had many crimes including murder and rape which is going to continue to get worse until the Police, Courts and Education systems go back to basics, much as we had years back when crime was considerably less than today. It is my opinion that with continuing levels of inward migration into one of the fastest growing districts in Britain and with Lincolnshire Polices latest cutbacks these crimes are just going to escalate and no amount of engagement is going to stop this. You could call this talking up crime, however, I believe it to be truthful and inevitable.
As for peoples perceptions of crimes, it was reported in the local media some time back, that Lincolnshire Police “screen out” 1 in 6 crimes now, so is it any wonder that some people do not even bother to report crimes as they know nothing will happen. This is the opinion of many people I have personally spoken to so when it is reported that crime is going down it is generally the case that some people have literally given up.
Perhaps if time, funds and resources from the police actually went into dealing with crime rather than working to a common purpose with “partners” then things would be a lot better.

The slogan on the truck reads More action, less crime – yes please!
Please feel free to take this letter up with your superiors.
Yours Faithfully
Cllr Michael Clayton
Unfortunately I was not afforded the decency of a reply - perhaps the truth hurts.
Christmas Cancelled Due To Elf n Safety
By Lincs Patriot on Dec 1, 2010 | In News, Local, Council Watch
For the first time in its 28 year history, Lincolns world famous Christmas Market has been cancelled due to snow!
Organisers have decided to pull the plug on the event due to health and safety concerns. Upto 100,000 visitors normally attend the market each year and is a great event. This is much the same as people travelling to places in europe to go to Christmas markets there. Lincoln businesses welcome this extra boost to trade so they will now lose out this year and due to the economic outlook (designed by the Bilderbergs) some may have to close.
Clearly, the controlling influence over our lives seems to get more and more onerous each month, as nanny knows best which some would construe as Socialism/Communism. Yes people could slip over in the snow or may find it difficult to drive etc etc but at the end of the day that would have been peoples freedom to choose, which has now been taken away from them. Who would have thought that we could have snow in December? perhaps they should have been more prepared - contingency plan?. One wonders how many get cancelled due to weather in places like Belgium, France and Germany?
Some would say that snow is the perfect weather for a Christmas market as that is what most people wish to see on Christmas day. Never mind, we gotta be safe!
PS: Organisers say they do not have the insurance to cover the event because it would be dangerous. This is what happens when you have a claim culture brought on by the likes of Cherie Blair etc. It is happening with many events like firework displays being cancelled. Some parishes even have to put up guards around christmas trees/decorations for insurance purposes!
Chief Exec Receives £173 k Salary
By Lincs Patriot on Oct 20, 2010 | In News, Local, Council Watch, Tax
Chief executive of Lincolnshire County Council, Tony McArdle received a salary of £173,226 in 2009/10
. You might think this was high enough, but dont forget the further £32,833 in pension contributions too.
Now we are not sure what the average wage in Lincolnshire is off hand but would imagine its around £20,000 p.a, which shows how extortionate this salary is. Unsurprisingly, Cllr Martin Hill (CONservative) the leader of Lincolnshire County Council and Cllr John Marriot - Lib Dem leader on the council both say his wage is fine and doesnt need reducing.
Readers may like to know that Tony McArdle is a member of the "executive board" on the unelected Lincolnshire Assembly that now "dictates" policy for Lincolnshire, without any real representation from elected councillors. If you havent already worked out, it is the chief executives of councils that are the real controllers/decision makers as elected councillors now have very little say. A cynic would say these executives are highly paid to keep quiet about what is really going on.
It is the Lincolnshire Assembly that likes to engage with the common purpose organisation too - which trains future leaders to "lead beyond authority" and uses terms like the post democratic era.
Oh what a tangled web they weave, which in the fullness of time will be unwoven!
Small Victory for East Lindsey BNP
By Lincs Patriot on Oct 5, 2010 | In News, Local, Activist, Council Watch
HUBBARD HILLS TOILETS SAVED
We bring you welcome news of a small victory for the people of Louth and good old Common Sense.
There is an old park in Louth called Hubbards Hills that is used by thousands of visitors and locals each year. The local council were refusing to help save the public conveniences and were going to close them on 1st October, which would have had the knock on effect of less visitors and people actually using them as a "toilet" behind the wall anyway - as has happened where public toilets have closed elsewhere.
During a recent by-election, local BNP candidate, Jez Boothman stood with this as his number one priority and was determined to try and save them from closure. A non-political petition was formed, which local members used to collect 184 signatures which was then handed in to East Lindsey District Council.

Well, it appears that Hubbard's Hills Trust have now agreed to "reluctantly" take over the running of the toilets, thus preserving them for the future which is a victory for the local people. You can read more about it here.
Reacting to the news, Jez Boothman said "This is great news for the local people and I am pleased to have played my part" and local East Lindsey Organiser Jeff Drew said "we managed to rally a great team of decent patriots together to help with the petition, leafleting and canvassing in the area and it is now brilliant news that these facilities are saved."
People power again wins the day!
Well done to all who helped.
Too Long, Too Good or Just Too Damn True?

The following is a recent letter to the Lincolnshire Echo that wasnt published. We will let readers decide which of the above is correct:

For the Attention of The Editor
Dear Sirs
In the latest edition (now previous version, Ed) of Lincolnshire County Councils propaganda magazine - Inside Lincolnshire, Cllr Martin Hill, our leader, extols the virtues of “third sector” organisations such as charities, community groups, co-operatives and faith groups.
Would this be why the Conservative controlled Lincolnshire County Council helps fund the “Lincolnshire Community Foundation” quango (registered charity number 1092328) that funds the community bank whose successful trustees join a tailored “Common Purpose” Leadership Development course?
Lincolnshire Community Foundation has the following amongst its “sponsors” - Comic Relief, European Social Fund, Lady Neville Foundation, Lloyds TSB Foundation, European Single Regeneration Budget, Lincolnshire Enterprise, East Midlands Development Agency, Regeneration Lincolnshire, Revive and Thrive, Department for Education and Skills, Diocese of Lincoln, Neighbourhood Renewal Fund (via Lincoln City Council), DEFRA, Fair Share Trust, Home Office, Dorothy Chadburn, Garrick Trust, Paul Nicholson Fund, Lankelly Chase Foundation, Godfrey Holmes Foundation and Government Office East Midlands.
The people of Boultham may be interested to know that it was the Lincolnshire Community Foundation, working closely with the Diocese of Lincoln who set up a common fund “Church & Community Lincs” to advise communities and to “facilitate change” refurbishing buildings and changing their use – sound familiar? The chairman of the fund was the Bishop of Grimsby.
What about the “change agent” Common Purpose charity too, which LCC has employed directly for conferences (at LCC offices) and courses for staff. Using the 2009 Freedom Of Information request I made (Ref 08347FOI), I can say this cost a minimum £3198.70 in 2005, £5640 in 2006 and £3084.37 in 2007.
Let us not forget the unelected Lincolnshire Assembly too that Lincolnshire County Council funds with taxpayers money. It is worth noting that another quango Lincolnshire Enterprise – a partner of the Lincs Assembly, commissioned DEMOS - a Marxist think tank, to develop a vision for Lincolnshire!
This is all part of the EU Regionalisation plan (breaking Britain up) and the greater Communitarian agenda, which carries on where Labour left off under the guise of Camerons “Big Society” with the new ConDem regime. Unbeknown to most people, the County Council is a key stakeholder with these developments. Perhaps this is why some people at LCC are on 6 figure salaries.
It is also worth remembering that Lincolnshire County Council increased its public relations bill in 2009 by 91% upto £1.7million, which pays for this propaganda to be produced and distributed. Perhaps if they wish to make cuts, they should start here and stop telling us how good they are and how wonderful things are!
Yours Sincerely
Michael Clayton

We'll pay again - part 2
By Lincs Patriot on Feb 24, 2010 | In News, Local, Council Watch, Tax
Just when you thought it couldnt get any worse you go and find out that we are now footing the bill for a makeover to a gypsy site near Gainsborough, costing £1.25million!
Deputy leader of Lincolnshire County Council Peter Robinson (CONservative) said: "The bid was made to the Home and Communities Agency in order to improve the general condition and make good the lack of facilities provided on the Summergangs Lane traveller site.
"The grant will be used to fund the refurbishment of 19 existing pitches, bring another back into use and create an additional space.
"The proposed works include the provision of 21 new amenity blocks with kitchen and bathroom facilities, extending the size of several pitches and upgrading the electricity supply to and around the site."
More info here.
Readers may be aware that Peter Robinson (CONservative), portfolio holder for social cohesion (shouldn't that be divide and conquer? Ed)at Lincolnshire County Council was the same chap who last year, said it would be a good idea to bring in Romany gypsies from countries including Romania and Bulgaria to Britain (why not everyone else is here, Ed) to fill jobs left by returning poles (not the ones in the shanty town by the witham, Ed)
At a time when many of our care homes are being closed locally due to a funding crisis, you would have thought that money would be prioritised to the people that really need it - silly us, thats what used to be known as COMMON SENSE - and we know that died long ago - but will return again!
We'll pay again
By Lincs Patriot on Feb 17, 2010 | In News, Local, Council Watch, Tax
£150,000 is being used as part of a National Reconnection Service which aims to help stop the spread of shanty towns that are appearing in Lincolnshire. Readers of these pages will be aware of the reports on the migrant camp outside Lincoln here and the one we reported on in Boston here.
Lincolnshire's agricultural chaplain the Reverend Canon Alan Robson welcomed the idea, but said £150,000 was nowhere near enough to tackle the wider issue of homelessness.
The scheme is being trialled in Boston and Peterborough, but could be rolled out to the whole country if successful.
When your tax bill goes up, remember who to blame! Don't say you weren't warned (even though it was waycist to say so). Nothing to worry about as the three stooge parties are "getting tough" on immigration.![]()
Another Tourist Information centre to close?
By Lincs Patriot on Feb 1, 2010 | In News, Local, Council Watch, Tax
North Kesteven District Council look set to close Sleafords Tourist Information Centre in Money's yard in a cost cutting exercise. The "executive board" say that by closing this centre and replacing it with local access points and an improved website, it will save £40,000 per year.
As with Lincoln City and now Sleaford it looks like there soon wont be any Tourist Information Centres left in Lincolnshire.
Tourist Information Centres are invaluable to people visiting the area for the first time and if they want to find out about cinema, shows, pubs and local attractions it is one of the first ports of call. By taking this away, new visitors unfamiliar with the area then have to seek out a local access point with information, which will not be as effective as a Tourist Information Centre, so the local attractions will lose trade. If they lose trade, the local council loses tax revenue etc.
According to the Sleaford Standard, the tourism industry supports over 1,400 jobs locally, while attractions draw over 1.92 million visitors a year generating over £74.5 million in revenue.
The above figures make the saving of £40,000 and the inconvenience of losing this valuable service seem insignificant.
NK: New asylum centre planned?
By Lincs Patriot on Jan 27, 2010 | In News, Local, Council Watch
It was reported yesterday that HMP Morton Hall, near Swinderby in the District of North Kesteven, Lincolnshire may be turned into an immigration detention centre. The present use is a prison holding up to 400 inmates, but the Prison Service have confirmed they are looking at a "number of options" which are under consideration.
You can read more about the article here.
Reading the comments, which are now over 100, someone has suggested that they use this as an overnight stop and then reinstate the former RAF Swinderby site nearby to fly them back from whence they came, the following day!
Perhaps if they were refused entry in the first place this discussion (along with considerable amounts of taxpayers money) would not be required, Ed
As always, blame the politicians and elite who have used/are using immigrants to divide and conquer this nation.
We shall follow this with interest to see what transpires.
