This demonstration was quite a unique experience with upto 50 people in attendance over the day. You might think this is a low number, but considering it was very last minute it was a good turnout and we sure made one big impression. The Police were in attendance and kept an eye on us to make sure we weren't "going to riot" and I believe we made an impression on them. Many people kept asking them to look at this and that website, they were polite when they took our Lincolnshire Voice leaflet and at the War memorial they gave us permission to put the poster up next to the memorial itself (which was over a barrier). Many local people stopped and spoke to us and it was especially pleasing to see young people taking an interest. Obviously there were many who wanted to listen to their ipods and stay in the comfort zone, but between us we put out over 200 leaflets in Leeds Centre.
This is Lawful Rebellion and this is what is needed every weekend in every Town and City. Once we have achieved the numbers, this is when we can stop the elite. We don't want rioters, we must use peaceful lawful rebellion, that way the Police will be on our side as opposed to us when they get their "orders."
The pen is mightier than the sword.
