BNP Candidate Refused Hustings appearance
Subject: Hustings for 4th May 2010.
To: Pastor Stuart Bell, New Life Christian Fellowship.
Dear Stuart,
I was disappointed to hear that my invitation to the hustings at your chapel, on 4th May 2010, has been pulled due, apparently, to pressure from the Bishop of Lincoln and others.
I was at the Methodist Church in Kings Lynn on Wednesday where the BNP candidate, a Christian, spoke out for the need for Christian values in our Nation.
There were no problems, there, apart from the fact that the Muslim Labour Party candidate boycotted free speech and organised an anti-free speech protest outside the Methodist chapel.
Well, that is consistent with their values.
Whilst disappointed, I wish you well and trust that you will be granted that boldness to bring the truth of Christ's gospel to bear on many lives.
With warm Christian greetings,
Rev Robert West
BNP Candidate
The British National Party (along with other candidates) were also not invited to a "Question Time Debate," this despite the party beating the Liberal Democrats several times over the last couple of years. See here
For the record Rev West never attended the last hustings meetings held at the Bentley Hotel, due to feeling unwell and he sent his apologies the day before the event was hosted, so it wasnt a case of "not bothering to turn up" as some were quick to suggest.
Clearly, the Bishop of Lincoln does not want the truth to be heard from the mouth of the BNP.
As Bishop John is retiring to Wales soon, the author would like to take this opportunity to thank him for speaking out on the loss of our churches due to falling congregations (& mysterious fires), loss of morals in our Church of England Schools where graphic adult scenes are shown to children as young as seven, the growing islamic influence in our towns and cities, all his work in the unelected Lincolnshire Assembly that plays host to sinister common purpose facilitaters and graduates that are helping EU regionalisation plans of the europhiles, £100,000's he has helped earmark for social cohesion funding via Lincolnshire County Council etc. Yes, enjoy your retirement Bishop John and leave the British people to clear up the mess you have helped create - Ed
