Christopher Robinson
Born and raised in Ingoldsby, on leaving the King’s School he went to sea as Second Officer. Last employed as Finance Director of P&O Tankships, he has since founded a successful manufacturing company. He was elected to South Witham Parish Council and stood as an Independent District Councillor in 2003. He set up and ran a Boxing and Fitness club for young people in South Witham. Married with a son and daughter he has two grandsons. He has published a book on the Lincolnshire Vikings.
“I believe in efficient public service, honest debate, wide consultation and action taken in the interests of those represented, not the council. Those in public office should be open, transparent and above reproach.”
“Why is the majority view on major issues such as Europe, Justice, Criminal Law and Immigration never acted upon? I urge the electorate to vote for policies not parties, otherwise the two party system will negate democracy yet again. Vote me into Parliament and send a message that will truly be heard. Do we really want our great Christian Kingdom to become a mediocre collection of suspicious tribes under the domination of Brussels? We must act.”
