North Kesteven Group played host to a very successful British National Party meeting in Lincolnshire as the area goes from strength to strength in the face of adversity.
Local organiser and Parish Councillor Mike Clayton opened the meeting by saying that since the last meeting our country had lost its sovereignty and this had to be a wake up call to the British people.
Cllr Clayton reviewed local news which included the rejection of a proposed two-storey mosque in Lincoln on the site of a grade 2 listed church that mysteriously burnt down; rumours that HMP Morton Hall, near Swinderby, was about to be turned into an immigration detention centre; £150,000 being spent to stop the spread of migrant shanty towns in Lincoln and Boston; and a colossal £1.25m being spent on upgrading a gypsy site, which equates to £54,000 on each pitch.
“All of this is being done while local care homes are being closed and British pensioners are forced to seek alternative accommodation,” Cllr Clayton said.
There was a brief update on the County Council elections and the endless dirty tricks aimed at our candidates, which showed the total lack of democracy. At the previous county elections the party never had a single candidate – this time the BNP stood in 23 seat beating Labour in 10 wards (out of 21 where clashing) and came very close on several more, with their vote collapsing virtually everywhere in Lincolnshire. Local BNP activists hand delivered over 100,000 warm up leaflets and over 50,000 election addresses. No other party could match us or even get near us. Thanks were given to those activists who helped in the election campaign.
East Midlands number 1 Euro Candidate Reverend Robert West gave a quick update on the EGM/Constitution changes which was followed by an excellent speech by Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Scunthorpe Doug Ward who recalled the famous words of Enoch Powell, which become ever more apparant by the day (& especially if people saw the recent dispatches programme).

After a short recess, Mike read out a wonderful letter from a local member, which warrants its own space.
The group then announced with great cheers from the audience that Reverend Robert West would be standing in the Parliamentary constituency of Lincoln. Rev spoke about the loss of Christianity and how the people must regain their faith and that he was looking forward to standing in Lincoln.
Mike then announced that he had been selected to stand in the Sleaford and North Hykeham seat and was going to give it his best shot in a very hard area.
Next up was Cllr John Ryde, the East Mids Regional Press Officer and Pospective Parliamentary Candidate for Bosworth, Leics, making it no less than 4 PPC’s at the meeting. After a joke, John spoke about funding for the general election and what was needed to fight the seats. After a rallying call for help John organised the collection and after the raffle, merchandise sales, donations for teas/coffee and a very generous donation from a local elderly pensioner the group raised an astonishing £1005 making it the largest ever collection at a Lincolnshire meeting!
New enquirers from the groups excellent leaflets were at the meeting and the group had offers of much needed help.
Onwards and upwards
