Recent news suggests that the University of Lincoln hopes to cash in by attracting upto 1000 foreign students in the next few years. As funding is cut by central government non eu students could shoot up from 200 to 1200 by 2015 giving a 600% rise. Apparantly this is being done to make the University an International Institution.
Manjeet Ridon, the newly appointed director of International at the university, said: "The organisation is keen to grow much more.
"The ambition is there for it to be a global university, and in order to do that it needs to look further afield."
