Just the Czechs left now

For those who havent heard yet, the Polish President Lech Kaczynski signed the European Union's Lisbon reform treaty yesterday. The treaty, which has to be ratified by all 27 EU member-states before it can come into effect, now lacks approval by just one country, the Czech Republic. The polish president had this to say:
"Today is a very important day in the history of Poland and the European Union,"
"The fact that the Irish people changed their minds meant the revival of the treaty, and there are no longer any obstacles to its ratification," Kaczynski said at the ceremony.
He also stressed that the EU remains a union of sovereign nations (
Ed) and added that it should open up its doors to new members, including former Soviet states such as Georgia.
We respond to his comments below:
1) Yes it is an important day, but for all the wrong reasons and certainly isn't good for Europes Nations, nor its people.
2) The Irish didnt just change their minds - some were afraid through intimidation, massive expenditure by the EC for a yes vote (which is unlawful itself as the EU should not interfere with the signing of treaties undertaken by member states) voting fraud etc (see below video!)
3) The EU is not a union of sovereign nations - it is a borderless empire with its own President etc
