By Lincs Patriot on Mar 16, 2009 | In News, Local
The Conservative led North Kesteven District Council recently announced a rise of 3.44% of its share of the council tax, which will result in households paying between £2.94 and £8.82 extra per year. Of the remainder of the council tax, 73.9 per cent goes to Lincolnshire County Council, 12.4 per cent to Lincolnshire Police and 4.2 per cent to your local parish or town council.
It was reported some time ago that already 1 in 6 people in Lincoln & West Lindsey cannot pay/refuse to pay their council tax.
