Welcoming the troops home

On Thursday 12th March, Lincolnshire folk gave a great reception to the 2nd Battalion Royal Anglian Regiment – better known as the Poachers after returning from Iraq. There was no anti-war/troop placades and the few hours passed by with great dignity. The Red Arrows did a magnificent low flight over the parade in Lincoln which we captured by camera. We believe that not only did the troops get a boost from the parade, but we are sure all the British folk did too!
One glaring error the Conservative controlled council made was not to fly the St Georges Cross or the Union flag above the Stonebow.
